That's me.
Well, technically, not me, but Oisin (pronounced Osheen) means small deer in Gaelic. Oisin is also a legendary figure in Irish folklore and Tir Na Nog, the land of eternal youth.
About Me
I am a UX designer with extensive experience in art direction, leading design teams and managing multi-platform projects in the US and UK. With over 15 years crafting customer-focused solutions, I bring a strong aesthetic sense, and a level of maturity to any project. I also have a passion for all things automotive.
From an early age, automobiles and their interiors captured my imagination. I was fascinated how all the components worked together to create a driving experience. This boyhood admiration continues today, translating into a desire to solve problems through human-centered design. To strengthen my UX skillset, I recently completed the School of Visual Concepts UX Certificate program.
Background
Originally from New York, I currently call Dublin, Ireland home where I am part of the Amazon PXF team. I work with cross-functional teams to define and launch a new mobile experience for a popular internal tool for Amazon employees.
Previously, I was part of the Amazon Kindle team improving author and reader UX experiences. Before pivoting into UX design, I oversaw book packaging from thrillers to literary fiction for Amazon Publishing. Prior to that, I worked in Edinburgh and London designing customer solutions across print and digital for content marketing and design agencies.
I am a keen automotive enthusiast and enjoy photography, cycling, swimming and trying to teach my border terrier new tricks.
